THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool ended in a 2-2 draw after a throbbing 90 minutes.
Leighton Baines’ own goal and Suarez’ header gave Liverpool an early lead against their rivals. Everton played past through rival Reds through goals from Leon Osman and Steven Naismith. Both sides were unable to break the draw for the entirety of the second half.
Suarez shot in a second one inside Everton’s net but the linesman declared it invalid, ending the match in a draw that showed Liverpool being the more dangerous side.
