THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea announced that their defender and captain John Terry would not need months for injury recovery, saying that the player will only be out for weeks.
Terry, who marked his return to the
pitch with a header goal and knee injury against Liverpool on Sunday, did not
incur “significant damage”, according to Chelsea. They failed to win w1th ease
against their visitors from Merseyside as they ended the match in a 1-1 draw.
The club’s medical team showed no
harmful findings on Terry’s cruciate ligaments. They will conduct further tests
on him once the swelling on his knee disappears to see whether he could achieve
fitness at an earlier date.
