CSKA go into this game with a couple of injury problems which will hinder their chances against a newly revitalised Inter Milan side. Goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev and Keisuke Honda will both miss this tough tie. The Russian club are in high spirits at the moment though after coming back from two goals down against Lille in their first Champions League game this season, as well as finally breaking their losing streak with a 3-1 victory over Volga.
Inter Milan start the day with zero points after a surprise loss to Trabzonspor earlier this month. Since then, Ranieri has taken over and they beat Bologna 3-1 to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, they will be without Wesley Sneijder, Dejan Stanković and Brazilian defender Maicon through injury. Ranieri stated in an interview that the loss of Sneijder is a massive blow so the squad harmony may be less than it should be and CSKA could use it to their advantage.- http://www.sportpulse.net/
