Inter's Forlán facing further month
FC Internazionale Milano are expected to forego the services of Diego Forlán for the next four weeks after the striker sustained his second thigh injury since joining the club.
FC Internazionale Milano are likely to be without their Uruguayan international Diego Forlán for the next four weeks after the striker suffered an injury to his right thigh in training.
The 32-year-old former Club Atlético de Madrid striker has made just nine appearances in Serie A with the Nerazzurri ‒ scoring once ‒ as a result of another muscular injury to his left thigh, which he picked up in October while on international duty.
Though the exact length of time for which Forlán will be sidelined remains unclear, the 2010 UEFA Europa League winner is expected to be out of action for at least a month. Inter face Olympique de Marseille in their UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg encounter at the Stade Vélodrome on 22 February, while the return game at San Siro takes place on 13 March.-http://www.uefa.com
